We are the 6th largest coal-based producer of urea in the PRC. Headquartered in Xinxiang, Henan Province, our manufacturing plants are equipped with advance technology in achieving optimal production efficiency, thus earned us the 4th lowest cost coal-based producer of urea in the PRC. In addition, we are also the 6th largest methanol producer in terms of production capacity in the PRC.

Our Company was incorporated in Singapore on 17 July 2006 under the Companies Act as a private limited company under the name of "Xin Lian Xin Holdings Pte. Ltd.", and our name was subsequently changed to "China XLX Fertiliser Pte. Ltd." on 22 February 2007. In 19 May 2007, our name was changed to "China XLX Fertiliser Ltd." in connection with our Company's conversion to a public company limited by shares.

1969: Henan Xinxiang Chemical Factory (河南新乡化肥总厂) ("Xinxiang Factory") was established as a state enterprise to engage in the production of synthetic ammonia, with an initial annual production capacity of 3,000 tons.

1974: the annual production capacity of synthetic ammonia was increased to 5,000 tons following the completion of expansion of the production facilities.

1990: Xinxiang Factory's "800-series" (800系列) technical upgrading plan was completed and the production capacity of synthetic ammonia was increased to 25,000 tons.

1994: Xinxiang Factory commenced a "Urea Conversion Project" (碳铵改产尿素工程) for the conversion of synthetic ammonia production to urea production, and this project was completed in 1995, with an initial annual urea production capacity of 60,000 tons.

1997: "Urea-4-to-6 Project" (四改六工程) costing an investment amount of RMB40 million was completed, with an annual urea production capacity of 100,000 tons.

2000: Xinxiang Factory completed the construction of production facilities with an annual production of 100,000 tons of compound fertiliser.

2003: XLX Chem was established to acquire the fertiliser business and relevant assets of Xinxiang Factory as part of a management buyout led by our current CEO and Chairman Mr Liu Xingxu and approximately 600 employees, customers and suppliers.

2004: XLX Chem merged with Henan Xin Xin Chemical Limited Company ("Henan Xin Xin"), a company principally engaged in the production and sale of compound fertiliser.

2004: The "Expansion of Urea Production Project (尿素扩产项目)" costing an investment amount of RMB125 million was completed. With the full operations pursuant to this project, XLX Chem had annual production capacity of 250,000 tons of urea per annum, 260,000 tons of compound fertiliser per annum and 35,000 tons of methanol per annum in FY2005.

2005: XLX Chem was awarded the "Henan Province Star Private Enterprise" by the Henan People's Government. In December of the same year, the compound fertiliser produced by XLX Chem achieved the honour of being awarded "Exemption from State Inspection" (国家免检产品) status by the State Quality Inspection Bureau (国家质检总局).

July 2006: China XLX Fertiliser became part of our Group when our Company acquired the entire equity interests in XLX Fertiliser from XLX Chem.

September 2006: Construction of our power generator systems for the Old and New Plants completed. The two power generation systems are able to generate approximately 35% of our current electricity needs.

September 2006: We commenced trial production at our New Plant pursuant to a lease arrangement with XLX Chem.

January 2007: We commenced full scale production and our production capacity was increased to 680,000 tons of urea, 300,000 tons of compound fertiliser and 100,000 tons of methanol per annum.
